This is my Charcoal drawing, it involved using charcoal sticks, charcoal pencils, and a white charcoal pencil. It involves three shells, all of them take a different forms, like their shapes and sizes. In this project it allowed us to view different balances and values. What inspired me to use these three shells was their forms. They don't look the same, their sizes were interesting. This project took lots of time, even with the star, trying to make it look like it wasn't floating and was flat on a surface. So doing this project you would need lots of patience.
Candy Pastel Still Life
This is my Candy Pastel still life, we were able explore the world of pastels, after using charcoal, we were able to use bright colors. In this project it involved five pieces of candy and got to choose from two different perspectives of the candy's. What inspired me to use these pieces of candy was because it was my favorite flavors and candy's. Overall this project wasn't hard, took sometime to get the colors correct and the labels on the page.
Box Perspective Still Life
This is my Box Perspective, during this we had to draw the perspective of where we were sitting, using a pink board, white pieces of paper, sting, and thumbtacks. We had to use one point and two point perspective to create all the boxes shown. The colors were lighter shades from black to light gray. the grays helped show the cast shadows and values of the boxes. This project was difficult to get the shading correct, and the different box perspectives.
Personal Item Colored Pencil Still Life
This is my Personal Item Colored Pencil project. During this we were able to pick a item from home and turn it into art, during this project I picked Kirby, a videogame character. For this I had to use lots of reds and whites, to blend them to create pink. What inspired me to use this object was, I enjoy kirbys color palette, the plushie was easier to do, due to its texture, and pattern, it was very smooth. This project was easier, working with color pencil, it makes everything smooth and blending was easier.
