Here is the following project of Earring Set with Patina, one element I'd like to name off of this project is the texture, in the section where there is green patina it is bumpy from the salt, one principle I would say is in this project is the contrast from the patina and the variety of colors like black, orange, and the green, or the balance between the two having the same thing on both sides.. The inspiration I got for this art work was, I wanted to have a project with stars, I love astronomy and thinking of stars being dragged down from the cloud was a interesting concept, but not just normal clouds, clouds with oddly shaped holes through them, when I think about this art piece, I think about the hidden stars in the sky during the day and the blue-ish/green clouds represents the clouds grabbing the stars. This process for this project was difficult, It was my first time with the saw so I struggled a little bit when trying to cut, but overall it was a interesting process when trying to do it, it had some trial and error in it when working on it, But was overall fun to make.
Themed Ring and Pendant:
Here is the project Themed Ring and Pendant, one element id like to name off of this project is the form, why I'm mentioning the form is because of the shark and the waves, they both are a form of the ocean and you're able to collect shells at the beach whether it is in the ocean or the land in the sand. One principles I'd like to name is the movement, the shark being shifted to the side indicating it is moving is one of my favorite things about this project. The inspiration I got from this project is the Ocean obviously, why I chose the ocean was because I love sea life, when I was little I enjoyed going to the beach and collecting shells on the shore. One of my favorite sea animals is a shark, they are such interesting creatures, and very misunderstood. The process of this project was easier then the last one, it was smooth and I enjoyed making this project because of how creative it allowed people to be.
Architectural Ring Project:
Here is the project Architectural Ring Project, one element I would say this project has is shape and texture, why I say this is because the shape overall is a building which involved me to make a rectangle base and then following with two rectangle pillars going up, the ring shape is a circle, so this whole project involved using shapes. Then with the texture, on the sides of the ring it has a brick going around which leads us to the principle being pattern. The pattern of the bricks goes all round and from the top base of the ring to the bottom. What inspired me to make this Architectural piece was it was based off of Cathedrae Notre-Dame De Paris, why I chose this one was because of how beautiful the Cathedrae was, seeing the different windows and pillars. It was so beautiful I had to do it. The view of my ring was the front of the Cathedrae. The process was really hard, when doing this project I struggled a lot on this and hope in the future I learned from this to not give up, after 3 tries I was finally able to shape it correctly. I didn't exactly hate how this turned-out, but I belieave it could have turned out better.
Art Nouveau Pin/Keychain:
This is my art Nouveau Pin/Keychain, the element I would chose for this piece would be the color, why I chose this was because the color I chose was purple, purple symbolizes creativity and peace. The principles I would chose would be the Balance both sides are mirrored to match with each other and not to be uneven. The inspirations I chose for this was butterflies, they are such beautiful insects and putting this into a Pin/keychain was a easy and smooth process. What I looked at to inspire this idea was this was a gift for someone who enjoys butterflies so that inspired me to make this for them. The process was smooth, I enjoyed doing this project, the only hard part was cutting out the butterfly shape but overall this was a interesting project.
